I'm opting for a vaginal delivery and feel like I'm getting a lot of criticism for it from family and friends. My 3 kids are aged 6,4 and 4 months. My children all had lower birth rates and I was monitored more closely because of my pouch. Our bodies are incredible. I just wanted to encourage you that things will be ok! Sending my prayers your way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33122934941989502.post-27955054946967483892014-12-16T13:58:41.731-08:002014-12-16T13:58:41.731-08:00At age 36 and 5 years post J-pouch surgery, I am f...At age 36 and 5 years post J-pouch surgery, I am finally ready to start having kids and am not only worried about conception, but also absorption/loss of nutrients to the baby if I'm able to get pregnant. I'm glad I found this information on your blog and if you have any additional resources or experiences (difficulties or celebrations) I'd love for you to share. After the operation my surgeon told me there won't be a problem at all to get babies. I have a big childwish so I started thinking about it those days. :-) It's good to hear from you that a C-Section is the better option to keep our anal muscles good. Those are indeed really important! I wish all the best for you and your baby! Thank you for your post, you help other people, like me. Do you run Team Challenge in NY area? My aunt, Regina Orelli, runs for the LI team. I am hoping to get involved myself after my pregnancy.
